Who’s afraid of keratosis pilaris?
I was just tumblring about Keratosis pilaris a.k.a chicken skin, (its an ugly nickname, but thats how it looks like) and am terrified how badly we all have it, and to think it is such a common skin condition.
But the thing is I only see it in my skin, and is becoming so annoying when I cant be close to my boyfriend cause Im afraid my skin will be scratchy and he might notice. He’s the cutest guy who wont say a thing, but it still feels awful; i cant wear shorts because it is all over my legs, and people think it is contagious.
It is not.
My friend used to say to me a lot “Please, your arms are hurting me!” and it hurt deep inside, but i had to manage a smile and get over it.
Just stop pointing it out, cause I know there are a lot of us who suffer from it, and we really do feel bad, I mean everyone has a right to feel beautiful.
